Introducing Tynt Meadow Trappist Ale

Tynt Meadow, the only Trappist brewery in England, has joined the Merchant du Vin lineup as our fifth Trappist brewery. There are only ten Trappist breweries total in the world.

Tynt Meadow is located in the abbey of Mount St. Bernard where the monks are responsible for all the work, from brewing to bottling and packaging.

A strong dark ale with English character, Tynt Meadow is mahogany-colored, with a subtle, warm red hue, and a lasting beige head. Its aroma carries hints of dark chocolate, liquorice, and rich fruit flavors. The beer is full-bodied, gently balancing the taste of dark chocolate, pepper, and fig. It leaves a warm and dry finish on the palate.

Search the beer finder to locate Tynt Meadow near you.
