Rochefort
Triple Extra
Aroma and taste show the Rochefort signature layered, rich depth with elusive citrus and spice accents. Color is deep gold with amber highlights, and the body is fairly light for a beer of this strength. Superbly complex, this expands the boundaries of the style. (Note French spelling, “Triple,” rather than the Dutch “tripel.”)

History
First brewed for distribution in Belgium in 2020, Rochefort Triple Extra commemorates “Forte Bière Blonde Extra,” a similar beer brewed at Rochefort from 1920 to about 1923. Released in the US in early 2022, this is the first new beer from Rochefort since 1955! “Curvata Resurgo” on the crown cap is a Rochefort motto; in Latin it means “Curved, I return” or “I recover from adversity and carry on.”
Serving Suggestion
Bold enough to pair with bold cheese and charcuterie before or after dinner; serve with roast duck or wild game main dishes. Pair with black trumpet mushrooms, salsify soup, truffle dishes, or artichokes. Serve in the traditional stemmed Rochefort goblet.
