Pinkus Organic Munster Alt Arriving Soon ON DRAFT! June 2019 Seattle, Tuesday, June 4, 2019 Merchant du Vin and Pinkus are pleased to announce that Pinkus Münster Alt, a crisp golden-colored altbier, will be sold on draft in the US for the first time ever starting in June, joining the bottles currently sold in the US. •Kegs are limited: our beer finder will list locations near you as they order. (Sorry, draft Pinkus Alt won’t be available in New Hampshire or Texas.) •Pinkus Münster Alt is the only remaining example of a traditional regional style, Münster altbier. Altbiers from Dusseldorf range from dark caramel to brown color, but Münster Alt is a slightly hazy pale golden color, with appetizing acidity and a hint of sourness: a small ratio of soured, reboiled wort is in the recipe. Thirst-quenching and inviting, there is really no other beer like Pinkus Münster Alt. •In 1816, when the Müller family opened Pinkus Brewery in the German city of Münster, all breweries were organic. In the 1980s, Pinkus became the first brewery of the modern era to commit to full all-organic production: Pinkus Münster Alt, Pinkus Ur-Pils, and Pinkus Hefeweizen are all USDA Certified Organic. ABV: 5.1% - OG: 1.049 - IBU: 20 Ingredients: Water, organic barley malt, organic wheat malt, organic hops, yeast. @merchantduvin #PinkusDraft Merchant du Vin imports Samuel Smith’s from England; Traquair House, Scotland; Ayinger and organic Pinkus beers, Germany. From Belgium: Lindemans lambics, Green's gluten-free beers, Du Bocq, and the Trappist beers of Orval, Rochefort & Westmalle; and Zundert Trappist, Netherlands.
